Level 1 focus on a working knowledge of the following:
- Comprehensive Model of Perfectionism
- Assessment of perfectionism traits, interpersonal manifestations & cognitions
- Perfectionism Social Disconnection Model
- Structure & use of the Triangle of Object Relations and Triangle of Adaptation
- Cyclical Relational Pattern (CRP)
- Foundations of Dynamic-Relational Therapy including interpersonal theory, the nature of attachment and attachment styles, and principles of relational-dynamic theory applied in individual and group psychotherapy
Level 2 DRT Workshop (Online)

This advanced two-day workshop is open to participants who have completed the Level 1 DRT Workshop.
Level 2 focus on application of Dynamic-Relational Therapy (both individual and group) including:
- Ongoing refinement of the working case conceptualization
- Levels of individual and group treatment
- Establishing and maintaining a collaborative working relationship
- Interpretation of transference material
- Use of countertransference to guide intervention
- Recognizing ruptures in the therapeutic alliance and doing the work of repair
- Importance of ongoing monitoring of treatment progress

Continuing Education (CE) Credits
Dr. Paul L. Hewitt & Dr. Samuel F. Mikail are approved by the Canadian Psychological Association to offer continuing education for psychologists. Dr. Paul L. Hewitt & Dr. Samuel F. Mikail maintain responsibility for the program. Participants who attend the workshop live will have the opportunity to complete an evaluation form to receive a certificate confirming the number of CE credits earned. Certificates will be emailed after completion. Participants are eligible for 1 CE credit for each hour of training/instruction, which will be 6 CE credits for Level 1 and 12 CE credits for Level 2.

Step 2: Submit your payment (no later than the workshop’s registration deadline) using one of the following methods:

Canadian participants should send their registration fee via e-transfer to info@drpaulhewitt.ca. After sending the payment, email us a screenshot of your e-transfer receipt along with your full name and the name of the workshop(s) you are registering for. - For international participants:
If you are located outside of Canada and cannot send an e-transfer, please let us know by emailing info@drpaulhewitt.ca and we will arrange an alternative payment method.
Our administrative team will verify your payment, and a Zoom link will be emailed to you prior to the workshop.
